To ensure the best results and avoid complications:

Do not book your appointment near important social events, as your appearance will temporarily change during healing.

Avoid waxing, threading, tinting, or electrolysis on the area within 5 days of your appointment.

Refrain from laser hair removal within 2 weeks of your appointment.

Do not take Aspirin or Ibuprofen within 1 day of your appointment (unless directed by your physician).

Avoid alcohol within 24 hours and caffeine on the day of your appointment.

Skip facials or chemical peels within 2 weeks of your session.
-
No Botox or similar treatments in the area for 3 weeks beforehand.

Discontinue use of Alpha Hydroxy Acids and Retinoids near the treatment area for at least 1 week prior.

Please exfoliate and hydrate your lips daily for 3–7 days leading up to your appointment. This helps improve pigment retention and ensures a smooth surface for treatment.

Do not get the area wet (water, saunas, sweat) for at least 7 days, except for gentle cleansing.

Avoid excessive sweating or exercise unless the area remains dry.

You may take over-the-counter pain medication if needed.

Use gentle soap or distilled water to cleanse the area.

Ensure the area does not stay wet for more than 30 seconds.

Always dab, never wipe the PMU site.

No. Avoid touching the treated area to prevent introducing bacteria and risking infection.
Yes, quick showers and gentle face washing are fine, but avoid steam, swimming, and soaking the area until it has fully healed.
No. Do not apply makeup, lotions, or skincare products to the PMU site until it is fully healed.
Keep the area well-hydrated for at least 7 days. A hydrating solution will be provided to you after your appointment. Hydration is key for proper healing.
